I'm facing this problem on a recurring basis, what's happening? I have a self-hosted installation

I don't know! Does that translate into a user-facing error or not?

Yes, the system does not respond to commands, the screen goes white and does not accept new logins

Hmmm I really don't know. It's an error with the Auth lib interacting with the DB. We are using https://next-auth.js.org/, I suggest you look for similar error of yours with the NextAuth keyword
