Left click and drag stopped to work with latest version

I am used to click and drag the whole flow to pan and see blocks out of th current visible area .
I just received a warning saying a new version was available.
I updated and I can do it anymore.
Is it ok?

Yes, the new version change this behaviour,, you must use mouse wheel, caps+mouse wheel and ctrl+mouse wheel to move the editor, but there is a bug, at least for me, due to caps+mouse wheel does'nt works for me
i sent a ticket to @Baptiste about this through editor's chat few minutes after releases
Hi, it doesn´t work to me with wheel combination. To me, it´s impossible edit my flow.
If you have a trackpad you can use it to move
or wait until this bug is fixed
I have mouse wheel. But ctrl(or caps) + mouse wheel do nothing.
and i have a very big typebot... i'm goin' crazy with this issue
even with full zoom out it doesn't fit on screen

ctrl+mouse whell zooms in & out, mouse wheel moves up & down
it's work fine but move left & right with caps+mouse doesn't works
Yes, I have the same problem
i'm using chrome... i'm going 2 chek others navigators
with firefox the same thing happens
IMHO, mousewheel is a bad alternative to do it, if used stand alone. Not everyone has a mouse wheel. I think could use mouse wheel to do it, but should have an key set alternative to other cases.
Maybe ctrl+right click to drag???
press space and then move around like before
Yes, I deployed the new gestures!
Keep space while dragging to move the graph
It's a common gesture among other editors like Figma, Miro etc...
i think it is a breaking change and a popup would be required for exisiting customer to understand the change (a popup with a tutorial or just a small summary on how to use new changes)
Will add an in-app notification as well
It was horrible having to use space, the most appropriate option would be crtl, right?
Hey Baptiste,
Great job with the new updates, copy paste is great and selections are great also. But the space bar and dragging to get around the graph hasn't been a good user experience, for me its awfully slow to get around the graph. Hoping for an alternative way if possible bud. Or if there is a setting that needs to be turned on the computer ect please let me know

Cheers

You mean it was faster when you didn’t have to hold the space bar? Are you sure about it?
It’s how popular graph tools behave, holding space bar is the most common pattern (Figma, Miro etc)
But these tools are bad, not typebot lol
"Keep space while dragging to move the graph" was a horrible choice. MUCH more time is spent moving around the graph than will ever be used selecting groups. The simple click and drag to move around was MUCH better than this mouse-space bar thing. Now I need two hands to move around. Every update to Typebot so far has been great, this one is bad. Maybe at least give us the option to choose in the settings
Yeah so I think on larger chatbots from my experience on 2 different machines it tends to be super laggy get around often taken multiple drags to move around. Smaller bots like the movie template you have was pretty smooth.

Edit: to be honest its made me rethink my chatbot structure to make it more simplified and cleaner so it might have just been the size of the chatbot that was lagging
Ok guys, I heard you, I will revert this change for the mouse!
How bout a multi mode? Allow for an option to be ticked for space usage?
I've just re-introduced the choice between Trackpad and Mouse gestures. (Available in 10 min)

Basically on both you have the Space + drag gesture but on the Mouse mode, the basic click also move the Graph. You can select the groups with Shift + drag.
yo babptiste just want to say that the new update was great. Thanks bud good job mate merci
