The bot is freezing after timeout.

At a glance

The community member is experiencing an issue with their bot freezing and forcing them to restart. This problem is occurring in multiple situations, and their clients have been complaining about it for a few weeks. The community members are unsure of the specific cause, as the issue does not happen regularly - sometimes it occurs during a request and other times when rendering static text. The community members suggest that long-running HTTP requests or infinite loops could be causing the bot to timeout. They are reviewing the entire flow and would like the bot to display an error and continue the flow instead of crashing. The community members have requested a reproduction of the issue and more information about where this type of error usually happens.

the bot is freezing and forcing me to restart.
If you have a remembered user, there is no point in restarting, they are stuck in the same place.
I need a solution urgently. I use the paid service and have clients in production.

This problem also happens to me in several situations. There is no specific location for this problem.

My clients have been complaining for a few weeks.
Please provide a reproduction πŸ™
I can't guess the issue
But basically if you have a long running HTTP request it can cause the bot to timeout
Or if you have an infinite loop it will timeout at some point
Good morning, we don't know where the problem is, because it doesn't happen regularly. Sometimes it happens with a request and other times when rendering static text.

  • The request has already finished, it was just going to render the static text.
Anyway, we are reviewing the entire flow. The big problem here is that instead of displaying the error and continuing the flow, Typebot crashes.

It would be nice if it allowed the flow to continue after an error of this type.
Can you provide the bot that is causing this issue? and maybe point where this type of error usually happens
