The post discusses an issue where media (images, videos, etc.) uploaded from WhatsApp to a Typebot bot are not saved and cannot be used, unlike the web version of the bot. Community members discuss this issue and provide some insights:
A community member shares a link to the Typebot documentation on file uploads, which seems to answer the original question. Another community member confirms that the documentation solved their problem.
Other community members inquire about the ability to upload media files or documents through the WhatsApp bot, and whether there are any specific configurations needed. They note that while file uploads work on the web version, they are not working on the WhatsApp bot.
Eventually, one community member reports that the issue was resolved by switching to a different Facebook Meta account, suggesting that the problem was related to the specific account configuration.
There is no explicitly marked answer in the comments, but the community members provide helpful information and troubleshooting steps to address the original issue.
When a user uploads media (image, video, etc) it is not uploaded in the same way as with the web version of the bot. As such whatever is uploaded from Whatsapp is not saved and therefore cannot be used in the bot. Is this to be expected?
@Apploader @Baptiste Is it possible to upload Media file or doc file in Typbot whatsapp? I tried by using File input, but I couldnt see like web version
