The community member is experiencing an issue with the default rating stars, which have changed from a blue outline with white fill to a blue outline with black fill. When a rating is selected, the filled stars change to blue, making it difficult to distinguish the selected stars. The community member is seeking a way to revert to the original white fill with blue outline stars format.
Another community member has tried to modify the stars using CSS and JavaScript, but could only change the fill color on hover and not the left-to-right fill. They suggest it would be great if the border color, thickness, fill color, and selected fill color could be adjusted, and the ability to select the icon within the block would be a welcome addition.
A third community member suggests publishing the issue on a specific Discord channel, as they believe it could be a good update.
The default Rating stars used to be just a blue outline with white fill, when they were selected they would fill all blue.
Now the default stars are blue outlines with black fill. When you select a star rating, 3 for example, stars 1 to 3 switch from black fill to blue. It makes it quite hard to see which stars are selected and which are not.
How do I revert to the original white fill with blue outline stars format?
I am curious about this too @baptiste. I tried to tweak this with CSS and JS in the head but I could only get it to change the fill color for HOOVER but nothing else and not left to right fill.
It would be great if we could adjust the border color and thickness, the fill color and the selected fill color. And selecting the icon within the block would be great too, but bringing in the svg is fine.
